Passed peacefully while surrounded by her family at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Larry Wood. Loving mother of Jorg Hendel, the late Andy Pearson, Sylvia Pearson (Chad) and step-mother to Barry Wood (Sherry). Cherished grandmother of Kylee, Tatum and Stephan. Step-grandmother to Emily and Bradley. Predeceased by her sister Helga Handschue. Will be sadly missed by her nephew Frank (Linda), her cousins Harriet and Viola in Germany, as well as many long-time friends and associates through the St. John Vianney Seniors Bowling League and the Monday Night Card Group at the Oro Community Hall.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, February 21st, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the time we celebrate Hanne-Lore’s life in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception in the Lounge. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
