It I with great sadness that we announce the death of David Charles Willmott at the age of 86 years, who passed away peacefully and quickly with his family by his side at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 25th, 2023. Devoted husband of 63 years to Judy Willmott (née Skuzer). Loving and caring father of Edward Willmott (Gail) and Susan Willmott (Tim). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Amber Arbuckle, Sasha Arbuckle, Aschlynn Willmott and Riel Willmott. Predeceased by his parents Edwin and Beatrice (née Carter). Dear brother of Jack, the late George and John. David will be missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 from 2 pm until the time of Service in the Chapel at 3 pm. Reception to follow inside the lower lounge. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA Barrie Animal Centre and are greatly appreciated by the family.
