Passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Thursday, June 27th, 2019 at the age of 83.
Loving husband of the late Irene, nee Perencz, (2017) for 57 years. Beloved father of Jim (Irene) Weaver and Anne (Mike) Sullivan. Dear grandfather of Kalianne Weaver, Catherine Weaver, James Weaver, Ryan Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan and Melissa Sullivan. Proud great grandfather of Ava. Dear brother of Lloyd Weaver and Mary-Lou (Garry) Beaulieu.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Reception to follow inside the Lower Lounge.
Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie. Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and are greatly appreciated by the family.
