Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on February 29, 2020 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Eddie and sons Marty and Leo. Loving mother of Jesse (Karen), Lisa (Tony), Loyal (Nancy) and Lynne (John). Will be sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception in the Lounge. If desired, donations in Valerie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
