Passed away after a long battle with Chronic Kidney Disease at the age of 52. Loving husband of Naomi (Nee Ladouceur) for 23 years. Cherished father of Elijah, Eve, and Eira. Dear son of Mike and the late Mariette Wachowiak, and Julia Bonenfant, brother to Paul. Son-in-law of Vance and Marilyn Ladouceur. Loving nephew of Lise and the late Luc Couture. Godson of Patricia Pacuta. He will be greatly missed by cousins, Mike and Mark Pacuta, and Tricia Masonavich. Carl taught at Joan of Arc High School in the Simcoe – Muskoka Catholic District School Board for many years. His love of the Arts and Theatre was well known in the Simcoe area. Special thanks to the Kidney Clinic and Dialysis Team at The Royal Victoria Health Centre for supporting the family for over 20 years.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church, 12233 Tecumseh Rd E on Friday January 27, 2023 at 2 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (519-253-7234). Memorial Donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation. Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Church in Barrie and Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
