VENTON, Michael ‘Mike’

Passed away suddenly at his home in Barrie on Sunday March 3, 2019 with his faithful dog Whiskey by his side at the age of 65. Beloved husband of the late Angie King. Loving father of Kris and step father of Jason (Heather) King. Proud and loving grandpa of Hudson, Gwen, James, Emily and Sarah. Sadly missed by sisters in law Judy (Terry) Noyes and Carole (John) Kempson. Sadly missed by other dear family members and many dear cottage friends and neighbours. Family and friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday March 10, 2019 from 12 pm until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel at 1 pm. A reception will follow on site. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VETS Canada and are greatly appreciated.
