VANDERKRUYS, Anthony Bernard “Tony” of Brentwood, ON passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday December, 13th 2020 in his 64th year. He will be sadly missed by his children Daniel, Jacob and Brian who were his pride and joy. He leaves behind his siblings and in-laws Theresa and Jim McRae, Wilhelmina and Bill Kelly, Steve and Betty, Ray and Sharon, Tom, Paul and Destiny and Christopher VanderKruys as well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A special mention to Aunt Rosemary Dumond who provided Tony with company and fun. He is predeceased by his sister Yvonne, and his parents Dorothy (Dumond) and Roelf VanderKruys.
Tony struggled with a head injury and accumulating health injuries since a workplace accident in 2011. He always had a large smile to greet you and a great sense of humour. His laughter will be missed by his family and friends.
As per Anthony’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Anthony’s life will take place at a later date in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brentwood Community Centre would be appreciated by the family.
