Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe Barrie on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 79.
Loving husband of Theresa Vander Meulen. Cherished father of Craig Vander Meulen (Tara), Robert Vander Meulen, Jason Vander Meulen (Melissa Durrell), and Eric Vander Meulen. Adored ‘Pake’ of Maggie, Charlotte, Kennedy and Marcus. Andy will be sadly missed by extended family in North America and The Netherlands. All take comfort knowing that he has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour.
Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) on Tuesday August 13, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at First Christian Reformed Church (33 Shirley Avenue Barrie) on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 1 o’clock p.m. Light refreshments will follow the service. Private family interment Barrie Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe or Timothy Christian School would be appreciated.
