Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, September 25th in her 97th year. Loving mother to Nancy Usher-Desjarlais (Larry) , she was pre-deceased by her parents Lloyd and Nancy Booth, and her husband Ray Usher and Grenville Doan. Muriel spent her career as a Registered Nurse in Barrie and surrounding areas. She also taught at the original Royal Victoria Hospital and through Georgian College. Muriel will be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and friends.
A Visitation will take place at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, Ontario) on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11a.m.-12 p.m. with a service to follow. An interment will take place following the service at Elmvale Presbyterian Cemetery (94 Queen Street East, Elmvale, Ontario).
