Peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Monday, November 2nd, 2019 at the age of 68.
Beloved mother of Danny (Treena), David (Nathan), Barb (Dan), Shane (Kammi) and special mother-in-law of Lyn. Loving grandmother of Natasha, Chris, Sarina, Lauren, Jessica, Lucas and Tyler. Great grandmother of Courtney, Briley, Ann-Marie and Takara. Best sister friend of Debbie. Close friend of Nicole, Penny, Kim, Patti and Dave. Dear friend of so many others who have supported Wanda through her journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 4 – 6 p.m. with Words of Remembrance at 4:30 p.m. Memorial Donations in Wanda’s memory may be made to the Southlake Regional Health Centre and to the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Southlake and Royal Victoria Hospital for the compassion and support they showed to Wanda.
