Jack Thompson October 28, 1930 - January 25, 2023. It is with deep sorrow, but tremendous gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Jack Thompson at RVH, Barrie Ontario after a brief illness. He was a loving husband to the late Sylvia, nee Wood, (2018) with whom he shared more than 62 wonderful years. Predeceased by his parents George & Edna Thompson and his son Greg (2004), Jack will be dearly missed by his son Steve (Laura), grandchildren Emily (Keith), Meredith (Marco) and Evan (Elizabeth); great grandchildren Marty, Cliff & Ruby Sue as well as many cherished friends and relatives. A celebration of life will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Royal Victoria Healthcare Centre in Barrie would be appreciated.
