Cindy Lou Thayer
April 4, 1960 – January 28, 2024
Our beloved mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 28th, 2024 at home in Barrie at the age of 63 years. She was the beloved mother of Amanda and Kim. Proud grandmother of Isaiah, Jacob and Violette. She will be missed by her sisters Terry (Rick), Wendy (Basil), Elaine (Paul), Eileen (Henry), Charlene, Maureen (the late Willis), Kelly (Larry), Michelle (Remon) and the late Colleen. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Sheila. And will be missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
Cindy Lou Thayer was a wonderful mother who devoted her life to her daughters and grandchildren. She was a protector of all those she loved and was given the nick name “Mama Bear” She was always there for all who came to her with their troubles. She was loving, compassionate, kind and caring. She had one of the most beautiful souls one could ever meet. Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel.
In keeping with Cindy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Cindy‘s birthday April 4, 2024.
