It is with great sadness that the Stephens’ family of Barrie announces the tragic passing of their eldest beloved daughter, Jessica Ann Stephens in her 32nd year on March 11, 2023 in Oslo, Norway.

She was the loving daughter of Robert and Lori June Stephens. Dear mother to her four-year-old daughter Noelle Brown. Loving sister to Jeffrey (Jana) and Jaclyn Stephens. Dear aunt to three-year-old Jace Stephens. Dear niece to Doug Stephens and cousin to Lindsay, Sarah, and Cameron Stephens.

Fondly remembered by Johny Brown (Shaunni).

Jessica was predeceased by her grandparents Doug and Marion Stephens and Philip and Ann Purcell.

Jessica achieved her High School Diploma from Barrie Central Collegiate and went on to obtain a Diploma in Fashion Design from Fanshawe College, London, ON and her Diploma in Nursing from Georgian College in Barrie, ON.

Jessica loved to dance, had an eye for fashion, embraced new languages and cultures and had a zest for adventure. Although Jessica’s time here was short-lived, she accomplished what she wanted. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Cremation has taken place in Norway. A celebration of her life for friends and family will be held on Sunday May 7, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; remarks at 2:00 p.m. at the Braestone Farm, 3288 Line 9 N Oro-Medonte, ON L0K 1E0 https://upcountryvenues.ca/braestone-farm/

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the RVRHC mental health unit or CAMH in Jessica’s memory.
