Donna Lynn Stanga passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024 at Hospice Simcoe at the age of 78.
Donna was the consummate caregiver. It was only in the last part of her life that she realized it was okay to take care of herself too, everyone else always came first. Donna’s world was her late husband Andy and she honoured him and their wedding vows every minute of every day.
Donna was an honest and genuine person and when finding herself alone after Andy passed, she very easily made friends with acquaintances wherever she went (the drugstore, grocery store, bank and hair salon).
Although she did not have children herself, she doted on and was a constant in her nephew Steven and niece Kim’s lives - she loved them as her own.
She is survived by her nephew Steven Rowlandson (Kathleen) and Kimberley Clements (Daniel). Great Aunt to Tyler and Abbigale Clements, Charles Hatherley (Amanda), Ashley Hatherley-Brunelle (Adam) and Ricky Hatherley (Bailey). Cousin to Nancy Cox and Mary Hetherington (Mac).
