Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community on Saturday August 18, 2018. Age 100. Muriel was predeceased by her husbands Arnold Sopher (2016) and Reg Holton (1985). Loving mother of Beulah Bain (Don) of Cambridge, Gwen Prosser (Late Paul) of Barrie, Karen Sutton of Barrie, Daphne Hvizdak (Jim) of Troy, N.Y., Daryl Holton (Gloria) of Barrie. Grandmother of Donna, Eric, Andrew, Tonya, Tara, Erin, Casey and Wade and great grandmother of Naomi, Saige, Taylor, John, Conner, Caleb, Gordon and Joseph. Great grandmother of several grandchildren. Sister of the late Bud, Guy, Ronald, Nita, Sheldon, Howard and Ruth. Muriel is survived by sister-in-laws Norma Wilson of Niagara Falls and Doreen Wilson of Allentown Pennsylvania .Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre 152 Bradford St., Barrie on Wednesday August 22nd, 2018 from 12:00-1:00pm. Service in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00pm. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain St. North, Cambridge on Thursday at 11:30am.
