It is with our family's profound grief that we announce the sudden death of Eryn Marie Elizabeth Smith, born at Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto on December 5th 1970 - September 11 2022 daughter of Patricia Smith-Porretta and the late William Brown. Step-daughter of the late Roberto Porretta. She will be missed by her sister Michelle Madden (Gary), brother Jonathan Porretta (Falyn), her nieces Scarlett and Sienna Madden, and by her aunts and uncles; Lynda Smith Bowd (Les ), John (Angie) Porretta, Elisa(Joe) Cianfarani. She will be fondly remembered by her cousins Nadia Podoloski (Brendon), Sabrina Salatino (Enzo), Gisele Sarvis (Dave), Ryan Bowd (Claire) and Philp Cianfarani and Vanessa Winton and the rest of their families.
Eryn will be remembered for her kindness, graciousness, smarts, love of her family and friends, love of and caring for animals, especially Eli her cat of many years. Eryn’s Funeral will be held at Trinity Anglican Church (24 Collier St. Barrie, ON) where Eryn attended church for many years, on Saturday October 1st. Visitation 1 pm Trinity Church, Service 2 pm. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in family plot. Donations would be appreciated for the Heart and Stroke Society for Heart Research.
