Passed away, March 24, 2021, at the age of 87 at RVH. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Jim. Survived by her loving and devoted children Cindy (Neil), Derek (Debbie), adoring grandchildren; Kyle (Kate), Cole (Jess), Juliana, and Myles. "GG" to her cherished great grandsons Owen and John.
An authentic, humble, dignified, proud and beautiful lady with a quiet strength and a love for people. A wonderful baker known for her "money cakes" she lovingly made for her children and grandchildren. Her delicious tourtière, meticulously prepared and enjoyed for Christmas Eve. She was also an amazing knitter making us all the signature and themed "Mary Maxim" sweaters that to this day we treasure! She also knitted preemie baby caps and baby sets so they would be embraced in those cozy comforts on arrival. Always extending unconditional love and understanding for family and friends, making us all feel so special!
She was an avid Toronto Blue Jay fan and we are all sure she will be cheering them on from Heaven, hope that will be of help for them. Her favourite TV shows of recent were Masked Singer and...90 Day Fiancé!
Our fond and valued appreciation to all the Staff at Simcoe Terrace Retirement Home, Mom's "home" for the past years, to your phenomenal care and caring for and of her, we are truly grateful. To all those exceptional professionals from Bayshore Healthcare, and special gratitude to Megan, absolutely amazing!
Cremation will take place and a private family celebration of life.
