Tania Lee Sharpe of Barrie, made her transition to eternal sleep at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, January 20th 2022, (with her family by her side) at the age of 64.
Beloved wife of John Elmes. Loving mother of Tasha Sharpe and stepmother of Greg Elmes and Tasya Elmes. Cherished daughter of Greta Charman. Dear sister of Ron Sharpe and stepsister of George Elmes. Sadly missed by her Uncle John McCarthy and Aunt Geraldine (Deanie) McCarthy.
Tania will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
At Tania’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Tania’s life will take place in the spring.
Tania was an organ donor. Because of this unselfish act, Tania was able to give life to a gentleman and a lady, approximately the same age as herself.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Michael’s Hospital or the Trillium Gift of Life would be appreciated by the family.
