A thirty-three year resident of Barrie sadly passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the age of 90 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Care Centre from natural causes. Anita was born in 1931 in Quebec. Anita loved her family, her many friends, music and jammed with local bands. She loved to dance, the game of golf and bingo, travel and enjoyed life to the fullest. Anita was married to her late husband John Semon for 57 years. She is survived by her three children: Karen Parisi, John Semon and Charmaine Semon, her three grandchildren: Christopher Parisi, Francoise Parisi and Robert Semon and four great grand children: Samantha, Angelina, Sofia, and Victoria (Tudorica). She is also survived by her sister Pierrette Henry and brother Ray Fournier along with their spouses and children. Anita's legacy of Joie de Vivre will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her! Her magical spark will be deeply missed!!! Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in July 2022. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Mental Health Initiative of Simcoe County through BASIC FUNERALS & CREMATION CHOICES – Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie.
