March 6, 1933 - April 24, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of our mother on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the age of 89 years. She will be missed every day by her children Wendy Powell (Kent), Randy Seedhouse (Wendy), Anna Seedhouse-Welsh (Len), Bernadette Tapp (Jeff) and Mary-Grace Ciriani (Mario). Cherished Grandmother to Jeremy Montgomery (Nicole), Joshua Montgomery (Jessica), Matthew Seedhouse and Michelle Seedhouse; Great Grandmother to Caden and Connor Montgomery.
Lucy will now find her place in heaven with her beloved husband Thomas Edward who predeceased her in June, 2020.
We will miss our mother's contagious smile, spirited personality, kindness and love of family. Her eyes always lit up when she described her younger years which were full of Sunday family dinners, dances, roller skating, then beginning a family of her own with Ed by her side.
Visitation will take place at Holy Spirit Parish (650 Essa Rd, Barrie, ON) on Friday, April 29th, 2022 from 10 – 11 am followed by the service. Burial will take place following the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery (208 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Spirit Parish or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
