June 27, 2000 – May 30, 2023

On Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, Braden Eric Scott passed away at the age of 22-years-old at his home in Barrie, ON.

Braden was the beloved son of Elizabeth and the late Richard Scott, the loving and protective brother of Taylor Scott, the proud grandson of Donka and the late Boris Ristevski, and his predeceased grandparents, Grace and Eric Scott. Braden was the dear nephew of Kathy Wymer, Bill (Michell) Ristevski, Barbara Hebert and Pat Scott. Braden will be missed by many extended family members and dear friends.

Braden was a compassionate, dependable, loyal and patient young man. The epitome of selfless, he had always been willing to offer a listening ear. In difficult times, many have depended on Braden’s tremendous heart and irreplaceable sense of humour. Braden always walked through life with integrity and honesty, always treating others with dignity and respect.

Braden was lively, yet so wise beyond his years. His energy so young, yet so mature. The calm to the storm, and the life of the party all wrapped into one.

Braden could be found listening to music, playing basketball on the court, playing video games with his sister and friends and enjoying many family gatherings filled with love and joy.

Words cannot articulate how much Braden was loved and respected. Braden has taught us all significant lessons which will continue to move us all forward in our journey to be the best we can be, forever and always.

May all of our lives be enriched by Braden’s life, and may his role in creating a lifetime of beautiful memories with those lives he touched stay in our hearts forever.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, June 8th, 2023, from 4:30-8:30pm.  Graveside Service to take place the following day at the Innisvale Cemetery, 7551 5th Side Rd., Innisfil on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at 11 am.
