Peacefully passed away on August 27, 2018 (in her 87th year) at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario with her family by her side. Loving mother of the late Erica and the late June. Dear sister of Engelbert, the late Alfons, the late Gisela Mikita, the late Lothar, and the late Manfred. Beloved aunt of Denise, Christopher, Patti, Lisa, Sandra, Christine, Steven, Paul, Dwayne, Doug, Torsten and Nancy. Dear great aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered. Visitation will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Saturday September 1st, 2018, 9-11 a.m. followed by a celebration of Betty’s life in the chapel of the funeral home.
