It is with unimaginable heartbreak that the family of Liam Rothwell of Barrie announce his passing on August 20, 2021 at the age of 19.This beautiful soul is the beloved son of Nicki Powell & John Rothwell, cherished brother of Devin & Nathan Rothwell, precious boyfriend of Madison Préfontaine, adored grandson of Margaret Rothwell & the late Brooke Rothwell, treasured by his aunts, uncles and cousins: Alison Powell (Kaiden & Nolan Maw), Richard Powell, Kelly & Denys Morel (Claire, Stéphanie, Patrick), and extraordinary friend to so many. Liam will be forever remembered for his spark, his caring & thoughtful heart, quick wit, playful character, and infectious smile. He will be sadly missed by all those whose life he touched and brightened so effortlessly. The family greatly appreciates the excellent care from healthcare staff and the tremendous outpouring of love and support from the community.
