Peacefully, on January 31st, 2019 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 58.
Carol Lynne Rose, loving wife of Chris Taylor, and mother to Aiden and Elijah. Devoted sister to Andrea Jagla. Dedicated teacher at Guthrie Public School. Carol was born and raised in Toronto, but spent happy childhood summers on the lake in Oro-Station, where she eventually built her home and nurtured her beautiful gardens. She also loved the sparkling waters at her cottage on Kahshe Lake. Carol loved reading, movies, painting, fireworks and bonfires, but most of all, she loved her boys. She was loved and will be missed every day.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, February 8th, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. and from, 7-9 p.m., with a memorial service to follow on Saturday, February 9th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
