Passed after a brief illness at OSMH. Reunited with his dear Wife Margaret Isobel Galbraith (2017). Much loved Father of Karen MacDonald (Marty Whitney) and Jill Rice (Richard St-Laurent). Dear Poppa of Cameron MacDonald (Alison) and Graeme MacDonald (Robyn). Special Poppa to great granddaughters Lyla and Claire. Survived by Brother-in-law Bill and Sister-in-law Anita Galbraith of Calgary. Predeceased by his Sister Fay and brother-in-law Don Bates. Ross will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at The Birchmere Retirement Residence and the staff at OSMH for their wonderful care of Dad in the later stage of his life. In keeping with Ross’ wishes, there will be a private family service. Donations in Ross’ memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Adams Funeral Home.
