1939 - 2021
Died very peacefully in Barrie, ON, on Thursday, May 13, 2021 after a 5 yr brave struggle. Beloved husband of Susan, his wife of 54 yrs. He also leaves behind his three wonderful children Julia, Heidi, Christopher and seven amazing, much loved grandchildren. Alfred emigrated to Canada from Bayreuth, Germany in 1960. After quickly mastering enough English he worked as a draftsman in Toronto. He then fulfilled his life long dream to fly airplanes. After 42 yrs as a pilot and over 20,000 hours of safe flying he retired.
A celebration of his life will be held at Trinity Anglican Church once this pandemic eases and the church reopens.
