Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on January 16th, 2021 after a short battle with the Covid-19 virus, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Ruth Read (nee Cooke) for 50 years. Loving father of Julie Henry (nee Read) and Jason Read. Father in Law to Dave Henry and Connie Read. Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Rachel, Jacob and Taylor. Survived by his brothers Bruce (Betty), Jim (Pat), and Ken (Janet).
Cremation has taken place, with private family arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
