John (Jerry) Maurice Fitzpatrick Quinn passed away at the IOOF Seniors Home in Barrie, Ontario on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, at the age of 95. Predeceased by his wife, Lee (Nony) Quinn, in 2004, he was a proud father to Pat (Carol) Quinn, Mike (Dianne) Quinn and Mary Lou (Leo) Brooks and a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Born in Emerson, Manitoba, he left the Prairies to enlist as a serviceman towards the end of WW II, settling afterwards in Barrie. John (Jerry) worked for and retired from the LCBO. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved all wildlife and animals, played golf, and followed the team sports of hockey and football passionately. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside interment service will be held. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
