With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Harvie, a devoted father, beloved fiancée, a cherished Chef and adventurous spirit, who departed peacefully from this world on February 16, 2024.
Harvie Pittman, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved fiancée of Sandy Govis. Loving father of Natasha (Shaun), Andrew (Alana), and Stepfather of Kim (Simon) and Kris (Luis). Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Jonathan, Langley, and Oakley. Dear brother of Carolyn (Jeff), predeceased by parents Anne (Nee-Bonwick), Chesley (Pittman), sister Sharon (Symington) and brother Ken (Maxwell). Lovingly remembered by his nieces Melissa (Darby), Karlie (Liam), Stacie (Giovanny), Ryan and extended family and many friends.
Harvie’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may have cast his final line, his legacy of love, laughter, and culinary excellence will continue to inspire and uplift all who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
In honoring Harvie’s memory, let us celebrate the richness of his life and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. May his spirit soar among the stars, forever guiding us with his light and love.

A private family gathering was held prior to cremation. No formal services will be held at this time, however a celebration of Harvie’s life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harvie to the Georgian Triangle Anglers Association (https://georgianfishing.org/) would be appreciated by the family.
