It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of sadness that the family of Kara Pattee announces her passing on June 3, 2021.
Kara was a loving wife and best friend to her husband Sean Pattee and the greatest Mom in the world to her three children: Tristin, Nicholas, and Connor. She will be forever loved by her parents, Brian & Patricia Donnelly. She was a cherished sister to John & (“sista” by marriage) Julie Donnelly, Janet Peterson, and Steve Yates. Kara was a doting and loving Aunt to Liam Donnelly, Callum Donnelly, Brandon Peterson, Sawyer Pattee, and Devin Pattee. She was a dear niece to Ruth Donnelly, Pegi Donnelly, Terry Donnelly, as well as Bob and Beth Paton. She was dearly loved by Sean's parents, Richard and Bonnie Pattee and brother, Blair Pattee and his wife Kim Wilson.
Kara touched so many lives with her big heart and selfless devotion to help those with whom she crossed paths, she will be greatly missed by the community. During her time as a Community Support Worker and active volunteer, she built many friendships. She will be fondly remembered by those she cared for and supported, always putting a smile on everyone's face. Kara loved spending time with her friends and family more than anything. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations to Candle Lighters Simcoe-Parents of Children with Cancer would be appreciated.
A private family service will be held Saturday June 12 at 11:00 am. A celebration of life for Kara will be held at a future date.
