Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side at the Spencer House in Orillia, on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Frank Spencer and Jean Hale (both predeceased) and step-daughter of James Garbutt (predeceased). Beloved wife of the late David Parrent. Loving mother of Ann Ward and her husband Mark. Dear Granny of Liam and Ian. Sister of Sharyn Clark (Ted predeceased) and Marjorie Wood (Barry predeceased). Sister-in-law of Michael and Kathleen Parrent (both predeceased), Reverend Marie Bingham (Bert predeceased) and John (predeceased) and Carol Parrent. Aunt to may nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service inside the Chapel at 11am. Reception inside the lower lounge to follow. Interment at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County or Spencer house and are greatly appreciated by the family.
