Opie, Colin

Passed away peacefully on Thursday December 24, 2015 at Hospice Simcoe. Colin Opie in his 80th year, loving husband of the late Mary Opie. Dear father of Karen (Ian) Miller and Linda (Bruce) McDonald. Devoted Grandfather of Jennifer, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Amanda and Melanie predeceased by his grandson Kevin McDonald and Great Grandfather of Olivia, John, Parker, Isla, Grace and Austin. Colin is also survived by his brother Ray Opie and sisters Maureen (John) Robinson and Beryl (the late Terry) Osborne as well as many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent Street (just north of Cundles Rd.) Barrie on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11a.m. Interment, Barrie Union Cemetery.
