It’s with a heavy and broken heart that our loving sweet, adorable mother passed away peacefully in her 94th year on May 31st, 2022, with her daughters by her side.
Born and raised in Minett, Muskoka, Ontario on August 12, 1928, Madeline married and raised four children in Etobicoke and resided the last 14 years in Angus, Ontario with her daughter, Carol Ann. Madeline was a loving wife to the late James “Mac”. Wonderful mother to her late son Wayne (Sue), daughters, Linda Kiervin (late Norman), Carol Ann Drever (late Gerry) and Janet Messere (Clement).
Cherished grandmother to Mark (Kirsten), Kristen (Ryan), Michelle (Michael), Kimberley, Ann-Marie (David), James, Peter (Meaghan) and Andrew (Sarah). Dear great-grandmother to Grayden, Holly, Amelia, Thomas, Emily, Joshua, Taylor, Jakob, Liam, Hudson, Spencer, Ivy and soon to be born in August, Bella.
She was a loving daughter to the late Arnold and Phyllis Gonneau, a sister to the predeceased siblings, Doris, Oliver Keith (aka Buddy), Olive, Ronald, Terry, Beth and lovingly remembered by her youngest brother, Winston.
Madeline will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her many relatives and friends.
At Madeline’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Madeline’s life will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1227 Morinus Rd., Minett, ON on Saturday, July 9th 2022 at 11:00am.
