It is with deep sadness that Jane and her husband John McGarey announce the passing of her mother Margaret Myers on July 5th, 2021 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie.
Beloved wife of the late Harry (Mike) Myers. Margaret is survived and sadly missed by her loving daughter, best friend and caregiver Jane and Jane’s husband John, with whom she had a special bond. We were the ‘Three Musketeers.” We shared many happy times together and we will treasure these memories forever. How we miss that infectious laugh and her wonderful sense of humour. She is predeceased by her siblings Lorne, Mike, Ralph, Harry, John, Doris Lyons, Eileen McKenzie, Jeannette Dayholos (Banting), and Phyllis Jennett.
As per mom’s request, there will be no visitation or service. We wish to extend our deep gratitude to Dr. Katie Moss for her compassionate care of mom over the years. We wish to thank the compassionate and caring staff at Hospice Simcoe who took excellent care of my mother in her final days. Many thanks to everyone who helped us.
