Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Loving husband of Gloria Millar. Cherished father of Lucas, Aaron, Shayne, and Stefan. Beloved brother of Drew (Kerrie) and Scott (Mary). Loving brother-in-law of Vicki Hiltz. Loving brother-in-law of Natalie Garcia and family and Eric Mattila and family. Son of Dan and the late Dawn Millar. Brett was founder of the Barrie Integrated Baseball Association, member of various committees improving the lives of people with development delays, and faithfully attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. and again at EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 374 Salem Road, Barrie on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until time of Service at 7 o’clock p.m. Memorial donations to the Simcoe Community Services Foundation would be appreciated. Donations provided will specifically supply funds for baseball fees and other recreational activities for people with developmental delays.
