MIGOCKI, Elizabeth Sofia

(June 4 1947 - August 7 2016) - Elizabeth was born in Rabka, Zaryte, Poland, daughter of Janina and Wladislaw Smietana. She was a teacher of mathematics and physics. She got married to Anthony Migocki, and they had their son Robert. She immigrated to Canada in 1976 where she began a new life. Later, her and Anthony had their daughter Monica. Elizabeth worked for Fuji Film for twenty three years in the finance department, later retiring with her partner Robert Ott.

Those who knew Elizabeth will always remember her for her gentle spirit and caring nature. She had an infectious smile, loved to make people laugh and brightened any room she entered. She was a lover of life, and a genuine person. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
We love you Ela. Elizabeth loved bright colours, especially orange, mandarin orange, reds, and yellows. She loved flowers, particularly carnations. Prevention and early detection is key, and it's up to YOU. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, on Saturday, August 13, 2016 with visitation starting at 10am until the time of service at 12 noon.
