MICHIELI, Marilynn (nee Axford)

We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Marilynn on October 9, 2016 at Toronto Western Hospital following a sudden stroke on October 2. Cherished wife and best friend of 58 years to Bob Michieli. Devoted mother of Lora and Rob, dear mother-in-law to Sarah. Loving Nana to Graham, Elliot, Iris, Noah and Liam. Caring sister of JoAnne Newman to whom she spoke her final words. Sadly missed by many other dear family members and friends. Friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Thursday, October 13th from 11am to 1pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie at 1:30pm. A reception will follow the mass at the funeral home. A private interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Toronto Western Hospital for all of their care and support during the most difficult of times.
