May 3, 1931 - January 21, 2023
Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, dad passed from this world into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 21st at the age of 91 years.
He will be forever remembered by his adoring wife of 70 years, Mary (nee Broley).
Amazing Dad to son, Ron (Pauline), daughters, Debbie (Craig) Brinkman, Darlene (Steve) Price and Dianne. Dearest Grandpa to Adam (Marco) McLean, David McLean, Jeffrey Brinkman, Melissa (Erich) Schafer, Andrew (Melissa) Brinkman, Bradley (Julia) Price, Samantha (Tyler) Gordon and Dawson McLean, and treasured Great-grandpa to Anderson and Nolan Schafer. Sadly missed by sister, Helen (Roger) Bourgeois, brothers-in-law, Frank (Patricia) Broley, Mervyn (Joan) Broley and sister-in-law, Berna Broley as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents, Albert and Rebecca McLean, sister-in-law, Flora Broley and brother-in-law, Bob Broley.
He will also be missed by his friends at Roberta Place Lodge and the family wishes to thank the staff there. Your caring and support will always be remembered.
Dad was born and raised on the home farm in Ivy and spent many decades farming as well as working at General Electric and other factories. Family and faith were the cornerstones of his life and he served us and the church well. Dad left us all a wonderful legacy of solid values and unconditional love.
A private family service will be held at this time with spring interment at Ivy Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Ivy Presbyterian Church.
