McFADYEN, Dorothy Jean “Jeani” passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Don McFadyen. Loving mother of Randall (Lisa) and Joel (Barbara). Cherished grandmother of Sean (Gabby), Alexandra, Tanya and Nicky (Kevin). Dear great-grandmother of Kade, Linden and Bruce. Thanks to the great staff at RVH for their compassionate care of Jeani.
Jeani had a full life of making people smile and feel good. She had the ability to find beauty in everything and everyone, especially our four-legged friends. She had an ongoing love of her expressive paintings, pottery and knitting. She was extremely involved at Parkview Community Centre in Barrie. Jeani’s passion in her life were the love of her family and friends.
Jeani left us with so many “beeaauuttiiffull”memories… she will truly be missed.
At Jeani’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Jeani’s life will take place on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, from 1:00-4:00pm at Parkview Community Centre, 189 Blake Street, Barrie ON. “Colourful attire is optional in honour of Jeani”
