Passed peacefully at Owen Hill Care Community on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the age of 83.
Bruce was the beloved husband of Joan (née Tough) and loving father of Lorrie Marchand (Raynald) of Ottawa and Tam Benoit (Steve) of Barrie. Dear grandfather to Sarah, Jordan, Sean and Kelsey. Bruce enjoyed the company of people and always liked to have a laugh.
Bruce’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the caregivers at Owen Hill. You were his extended family and we will always be grateful for your care, compassion and humour.
In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, there will be no funeral. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham, Barrie. Donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to Parkinsons Canada or a charity of choice and are greatly appreciated by the family.
