(July 29, 1933 - December 10, 2019) - Glenda gained her wings and passed away peacefully while Elvis sang Christmas music, surrounded by family at Georgian Bay General Hospital in her 87th year. Mother of Vicki Howe, Michele (Scott) Cook, Nana to Mathew Howe (Nicole), Nana to Graham Howe and Nanny to Sarah Cook. Mom was strong, tenacious and feisty, a typical redhead, but her last setbacks were finally just too much for her. Her family would like to thank her special nurses and PSW’s who have cared so lovingly for Mom over the last many months, and her homecare workers over the last many years. She is finally pain free and at peace, dancing under the stars and tending a beautiful garden. A private family celebration will be held in the spring, her favorite season when all the flowers bloom.
