Martin, Christopher 12 October 1981 – January 16, 2023
It is great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Chris on Monday January 16, 2023 at his home in Angus at the age of 41.
Chris, beloved husband of Caitlin (nee Farrimond). Loving father of Abbilee, Cara, Wesley and James. Son of Stephen and Penny (Paul). Brother of Tina (Rob) and brother-in-law of Shannon (Nathan) and Jason. Son-in-law of John and Lee Farrimond. Fun Uncle of Evan, Tucker, Ava, Grayson, Gracie, Jayde and Matilda. Loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chris and his lovely wife were together for almost 10 years, they were just married last July, in a small ceremony in their back yard. Abbilee and Cara knew their dad as “Super Dad”, his nickname for them were “Donkeys and Rats”. Chris always talked about his three girls, how much he loved them and would have done anything for them, they were his world.
He loved the outdoors, riding bikes, camping and sitting around the bonfire drinking his favourite Crown Royal and Ginger.
Chris worked at Honda as a Production Team Leader; he was known as the guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He always had a smile on his face and was full of laughter and jokes.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, but most of all from his canine companion Ash, his two cherished girls and his wife as he was the love of her life. – “Love you Honey Bear”
Casual gathering will be held on March 4, 2023 between 1 to 4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 499, 15 Frazer Street, Angus.
