On Monday July 23rd 2018 beloved Shirley Susan Madower (Noseworthy) passed away after a long illness. Shirley passed away with daughter (Janice Galesic) and granddaughter (Jessica Neelin) by her side. “Curly Shirley” was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Shirley was famous for her loafs and was nicknamed “Mrs. Loaf”. She was loved and adored for 37 years where she worked at Look Ho Ho in Halifax. Shirley married the love of her life the late John Charles Madower and enjoyed 48 years of blissful marriage. Shirley is survived by her children Mike Rideout (Lisa), John A. Madower (Shuhui) and Janice Galesic (Ivan) sister Doreen Richardson and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Shirley is preceded by her husband John Charles Madower, brothers Robert, Ronald and Albert Noseworthy A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 28th 2018, from 2pm – 5 pm at 88 Cardinal St. Barrie. Shirley loved animals so in lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelters.
