The family of Gary Donald Lougheed of Elmvale, Ontario is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the age of 68.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debra Plain; sons Ryan Lougheed (Jessie), Brett Plain (Lisa) and Brock Plain (Brittany); grandson Rory Plain, sister Carol Lougheed, his 3 nieces, and by his pre deceased mother Grace Lougheed and father Robert Lougheed.
Gary was a man of many talents, born in Toronto where his parents really taught him and his sister the love for music. He loved his sports, especially hockey. He moved around eventually settling in Elmvale on his own piece of paradise.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1-4pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, Ontario). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary Lougheed's name to RVH kidney care (201 Georgian Drive, Barrie On L4M6M2). If donating online, please leave a comment that specifies Renal Program or Dialysis.
