Passed away peacefully at the IOOF Home, Barrie on Thursday, July 1, 2021 with family at his side. Albert Long at the age of 87 dear father of Nancy Musicco, Lorine (Gordon) Griffin, Anne Hutton, Wade (Kristy) Long and Steven Long. Proud grandfather of Vincenza, Taylor (Leah), Kristin, Michael (Madelyn), Colson, Charlie, Henry and Emerson great grandfather of William and Ada. Albert will also be fondly remembered by Doreen Lilley and Retha Long. Also survived by his sister Kathleen (the late Carl) Morrison and also his brother Arthur (Janette) Long. Predeceased by his sisters Violet Long, Cora Long, Marion (the late Irvin) Silverthorne and Leone (the late Allan) Gunn and brothers Osborne Long and Edgar Long. Albert had a long career driving transport for Canadian Freightways where he was recognized for his dedication and safe driving. After his retirement Albert enjoyed time on his farm.
