It's with sadness we announce David Wayne Lewis has passed away peacefully on October 2nd, 2022 as a result of a stroke in his 80th year. He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha; his loving children, Alana Turner and Mark (Michelle) Lewis; his adored grandchildren, Huxley, Winslow and Maya. He will be greatly missed by his sister Bonni (Rich) Gatter and many friends and family in Barrie, Toronto and surrounding area. David’s passions were music, playing drums, motorcycles and boating. He was a long time employee of Molson’s, Barrie. A special thank you to all the Doctors who took care of David over the years. Thank you also to the medical staff at the Integrated Stroke Unit at Royal Victoria Hospital.
In memory of David, we ask that you do an act of kindness, call a friend you lost touch with or make a donation to your favourite charity. A Celebration of Life will take place at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11:30am to 2:00pm.
