Passed away peacefully on May 20th 2022 at the age of 90 at Grove Park Home in Barrie, with family at her side. Grace was the wife of the late Rev. Douglas Lattimer and is survived by her children, Jennifer Meakings (Gordon, dec.), Dave Adams (Marcela), Steve Adams (Jennifer), Sharon Smith (Greg), and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Born the youngest of 5 during the Great Depression in Toronto, Grace was a devout Christian and an accomplished and talented musician. During her working life, she worked for Kodak, then as a legal secretary and executive secretary at Employment Canada. In her retirement she enjoyed extensive travel, taking her to Australia, the Caribbean, the Holy Land and across the US, amongst others.
Our family are ever grateful to her Grove Park Home family for the love, compassion, and care that they showed on a daily basis over the 16 1/2 years that Grove Park was Grace’s home.
The service and reception for Grace will be held at Lion’s Gate Banquet Centre, 386 Blake St., Barrie on Wednesday, June 22nd at 1 P.M.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, etc. that if you feel so inclined, that a donation be made in her memory to Grove Park Home.
