Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 in his 96th year. Predeceased by June, his beloved wife of 68 years (January 2017). Dear father of Arlene Latimer and Gail (Ed) Regan. Proud and devoted Poppa of Lindsay, Jeffrey and James Regan. Predeceased by his brother Sandford. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with a Masonic Service taking place at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 12 pm, following an hour of visitation from 11 am. Guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge before the family proceeds to Angus Union Cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to Angus United Church or Hospice Simcoe would be greatly appreciated by the family.
