Beloved wife of Ray Lambert. Cherished mother of Susan Gilligan (Michael Dube), Lorianne Davies (Bill Davies) and Wendy Lambert (Anthony Hadwen). Loving grandmother of Michael Gilligan (1989-2006), Maggie Gilligan, Matthew Davies, Samantha Davies, Amanda Hadwen and Alexander Hadwen . Sister of Dianne Lohnan. Predeceased by siblings Ron, Mona, Mary, George, and Dorothy. Barbara was raised in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and maintained a special love from her home province, travelling “home” many times. She moved to Ontario in her teens. Her sister Dorothy came shortly after and they remained best friends. On May 28,1955, she married Ray Lambert. She was a loving mother to three daughters, talented homemaker and spent countless wonderful summers at her cottage on Healey Lake. In the 1980s, she returned to the workforce doing administrative work and later, become a licensed insurance broker. She loved her cottage, drives in the country, discovering new places and meeting new people. She was an amazing quilt-maker and enjoyed crafting with her friends. A wonderful listener with a contagious laugh and a love of life, Barbara is sorely missed by all.
