LADE, Philip David

Passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of Brenda Lade (Née Cox) for over 54 years. Loving father of Patricia (Perry), Andrew, Melissa and Stephen (Megan), Suzy (Terry) and Gerard. Cherished grandfather of Acacia, Brady, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Charlie, Dustyn, Liam, Owen, Evie, Riannagh, Recherche, Matthew, Toby and great grandfather of Carter, Hanna, Emma, Ava, Sophia, Hayden, Colten and Zyden.  He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Philip is predeceased by his parents and siblings. The family would like to take this time to say a big heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at RVH – Respiratory unit and the paramedics for providing such compassionate care to Philip. Arrangements are entrusted to Steckley – Gooderham Funeral Home 30 Worley Street, Barrie. Friends are invited to the visitation that will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 12 (noon) till the memorial service that will be held at 1 o’clock the same day.
